Actually, this issue is becoming a non factor with the newest LCD sets offering 240Hz Motionflow technology. 1st generation LCD sets offered 60Hz response time and some tv’s exhibited lag time, blurring, and ghosting. Personally, I own 2 LCD sets, one 60 Hz and one 120 Hz set and I haven’t noticed any lag time with the sets.

Both technologies are moving toward the 3D Full HD standards. Whoever wins the battle between plasma vs lcd may end up ruling the market that LCD sales currently control.
